Talk Now Telehealth is a web based platform and mobile app that delivers mental health therapies through secure video and telephone consultations throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Our services are available to anyone located in Australia and New Zealand who is seeking mental health support. Users must be at least 16 years old or have parental and/or legal guardian consent if underage.

Talk Now Telehealth offers various services, including:

Getting Started

To create an account, visit our website or download the mobile app. Click on the “Sign Up” button and follow the prompts to provide your personal information and set up your profile.

No, creating an account on Talk Now Telehealth is free. However, fees will apply for scheduled appointments, which will be outlined during the booking process.

To access our services, you need a device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) with a reliable internet connection, a webcam, and a microphone. We recommend using the latest version of your browser or the Talk Now Telehealth mobile app for the best experience.

Appointments

After logging into your account, navigate to the “Booking” section. From there, you can choose a therapist, select a service, and pick a convenient date and time for your appointment.

You can reschedule or cancel your appointment by accessing the “Bookings” section in your account. Please note that cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment will incur a $50 fee.

If your therapist is late, please wait for 10 minutes. If the therapist does not join the session, please contact our support team for assistance.

Therapy and Counseling

All therapists on our platform are licensed professionals with relevant qualifications in mental health. They are required to maintain their credentials and comply with local regulations.

When booking an appointment, you can view therapists’ profiles, including their specialty areas, experience and qualifications in addition to their affiliated services, location, their fees and the date/time available. Take your time to select a therapist that aligns with your needs and preferences.

During your first session, your therapist will introduce themselves, discuss confidentiality and privacy policies, and gather information about your background and concerns. This initial assessment helps the therapist understand your needs and develop an appropriate treatment plan.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Yes, Talk Now Telehealth takes privacy seriously. We comply with all applicable privacy laws, and all communications are conducted through secure channels to protect your personal information.

Sessions are recorded with the consent of the User. If the User does Not consent to the session being recorded the consultation will continue to take place unrecorded. Both the Therapist and the User are committed to maintaining privacy during the consultation.

Payment and Fees

The cost of services varies depending on the Therapist qualifications and experience. The Therapists fees are outlined on their profile within the booking calendar, therefore transparent prior to booking. All fees are clearly outlined during the booking process. 

We accept credit card payments which are processed through our Stripe provider.  Payment details will be collected during the booking process.

Coverage for telehealth services may vary by insurance provider. We recommend checking with your insurance company to understand your benefits regarding mental health services.

Yes, Talk Now Telehealth is available as a mobile app for both iOS and Android devices, allowing you to access our services from anywhere.

Additional Questions

The frequency of sessions will depend on your individual needs and the recommendations of your therapist. Some clients may benefit from weekly sessions, while others may meet bi-weekly or as needed.
